Welcome Interstate Managers - Fountains of Wayne

This is easily one of the best, if not the best, album I heard in 2003. Fountains of Wayne have been around for awhile, generating critical praise but not quite hitting it big with their catchy, spirited tunes about life in the Tri-State area. This album features the huge hit "Stacy's Mom" that propelled them into the pop field with gusto and gave them the recognition they deserve for an outstanding album.

Running the gamut from country to hard rock, Fountains of Wayne manage to put together an eclectic album that sounds perfect together and is great to listen to over and over again as they take different genres of music and make it their own.

Check it out for yourself and find yourself captivated and singing along to tunes like "Mexican Wine", "Hey Julie" and "Hung Up on You". Also be sure to check out their earlier releases which are every bit as good and proves that this band isn't just flash in the pan, they're an established alternative rock group with substance and style.
